Pride for Youth Initiative
Is an Organization initiated for male and female sex workers together with transgender (men and women) persons? It was initiated to solve the burning issues of these persons that hinders their daily life in collabo with the community.
The most points raised to have failed their lives progress are;
Isolation
Discrimination
Stigma
And among others, and this has failed them to exercise human rights in their communities where they spend their entire lives. They also failed to receive public services like security services and health services due to the fear of the above points. Our aim is to ensure a better living among those people and complete freedom over their rights and services provided by the government.
We provide counseling to these people, health care, and referrals with a temporary shelter in some cases.
We provide a company to almost everyone, we claim for security and protection.
We sensitize our members/clients about the law updates and their rights over it. We exercise transparency and economical empowerment.
We create free and open dialogues between our members to overcome their daily charges.
We provide secret guardian communication to ease the problem of stigma whereby our members like writing letters to their guardian angels explaining their healthy, hardships that they pass through reaching or seeking guidance or solution in return.
We dearly feel proud for the small achievement we have reached but not even the quarter to our expectation due to limited conditions by;
Financial problems
Shelter for homeless and victims
Structures for maintenance
We conclude by calling for support in any direction to sustain our activities to serve our community.
